H.S. projects completed this summer.

H.S. dehumidification study.
Next steps for the High School Project
Dan Robbins will put together an action plan of next steps.
Make-up of the committee – fairly stable membership.
Communication Plan – have tried a number of different approaches to get the word out. What is the message that will resonate most with South Portland residents?
School Construction applications.
DOE will be opening applications sometime later this fall and may have a new rating system.
Suzanne is on the Superintendent’s Construction Sub-committee and will be attending meetings to see what the State is planning to do in this area.
Suggestion that we could split the committee into 2 working groups that may meet for a portion of the regular meeting-a H.S. Sub-committee and a Middle School Sub-committee.
Suggestion to use social networking technology to communicate with people who we don’t reach through other media.
There was a suggestion that we might tap into community resources to help craft our communication plan.
